A characterful seaman’s chest from the 19th century. With steel strappings to give strong protection and probably restored and sign written in the 1970’s/80’s. The side handles are later replacements other than that the trunk is pretty original. The gilt sign writing gives reference to seaman Isaac Hind 1835. A great decorative piece whilst giving storage at the same time.

Installation Guidelines

Always make sure the wall has been wiped clean prior to installation.

Temporary installation :

3M (Picture hanging strips) or double sided tape can be used.Glue or staple picture hanging strip to the back of the acoustic panels. Because of their porous sound absorbing nature they do not stick as well to the 3m/double sided strip as the wall will.
