Product Details:(The Sundowners) – An exciting western, filmed entirely on location in Texas, that rests on the roguish charm of Robert Preston and the superb Technicolor photography by Winton Hoch, fresh from his Oscar for ‘She Wore a Yellow Ribbon’. The film introduces John Barrymore Jr., who is exceptional as his bad outlaw brother. Robert Sterling plays the more conventional middle brother and ex-accountant Jack Elam makes an early film appearance as a scared murder witness. Leading western novelist Alan Le May (The Searchers) produced and scripted this adaption of one of his early pieces, ‘Thunder in the Dust’, as well as appearing uncredited as Preston’s companion. (Under California Stars) – There’s a shady gang traveling the range, making a living rounding up wild horses and selling them their meat and hides. When the gang tires to raid Roy’s and, Roy manages to thwart their plans and make enemies of them. The gang soon retaliates and steals Trigger, offering him back to Roy for a $100,000 ransom. To make matters worse, Roy suspects that his friend may have helped with the kidnapping. (Mohawk) – When a young Casanova artist attempts to juggle three girls at once, things get a little messy, especially when it’s a small-town army post. Not only does the young stud have his recently arrived fiancé to keep happy, but he is canoodling with the store-keepers daughter as well as the daughter of the local Indian chief! But he soon realizes that these troubles don’t compare to what happens when a newcomer with a score to settle starts a battle between the army and the Indians. Directed by Kurt Neumann and starring Scott Brady, Allison Hayes and Lori Nelson.
