Overview The Fireye MEP230 is a microprocessor-based programmer module designed for use with the Fireye MicroM Flame Safeguard System. This plug-in component provides complete burner sequencing logic, including safe start-up, flame supervision, and shutdown for commercial and industrial gas or oil-fired burners. It is engineered to determine the operational characteristics of the MicroM control, offering a modular and flexible solution that allows for easy installation and maintenance by plugging directly into a standard M-Series II chassis. Features DIP switch configuration allows technicians to select purge timing, pilot trial-for-ignition (PTFI) timing, and recycle or non-recycle operation. Integrated “Smart” LED indicators provide real-time operating status and display coded sequences for fault diagnostics during safety lockouts. Supports “Prove Air Flow Open at Start” and “Post Purge” functions to ensure the combustion chamber is clear before and after operation. Backward compatibility with existing Fireye M-Series, TFM, and UVM controls for easy system upgrades. Robust plug-in design simplifies field replacement and reduces equipment downtime. Specifications Part Number: MEP230 Supply Voltage: 120 VAC (standard) or 230 VAC (model dependent), 50/60 Hz Purge Timing Options: Selectable 7, 30, 60, or 90 seconds PTFI Timing: Selectable 5 or 10 seconds Post Purge: Selectable disabled or 15 seconds Operating Temperature: -40 degree F to 140 degree F (-40 degree C to 60 degree C) Shipping Weight: Approximately 3 lbs (1.4 kg) Approvals: UL Recognized, FM Approved, and CSA Certified Applications The Fireye MEP230 Programmer Module is utilized in a variety of high-demand combustion environments to manage automatic burner sequencing. It is commonly applied in industrial boilers and furnaces, commercial heating systems, and process heating or drying equipment. It is an ideal choice for both new installations and burner retrofits where programmable sequencing and reliable flame safeguard monitoring are required for safe operation.

Installation Guidelines

Always make sure the wall has been wiped clean prior to installation.

Temporary installation :

3M (Picture hanging strips) or double sided tape can be used.Glue or staple picture hanging strip to the back of the acoustic panels. Because of their porous sound absorbing nature they do not stick as well to the 3m/double sided strip as the wall will.
