The Honeywell R7847A1082 flame amplifier. 2 OR 3 SEC Flame FAILURE RESPONSE TIME. FOR USE W/C7012AC. Datasheet OverviewThe R7847A1082 is a solid-state plug-in amplifier that senses flame via flame rods or compatible ultraviolet detectors. It provides an accurate flame failure response and integrates with safety control relay modules in burner systems. Key Features Flame Failure Response Time (FFRT): selectable 2.0 or 3.0 seconds Flame Signal Measurement: 0.0 to 5.0 Vdc via test jacks for monitoring flame strength Detection Compatibility: Use with rectifying flame rods (e.g. C7004, C7005, C7007, C7008, C7009, Q179) and suitable UV flame sensors Relay Module Compatibility: Designed to plug into Honeywell 7800 and R7140 Series relay modules via a keyed edge connector Color-Coded Label: Green label to indicate rectification-type amplifier for easy identification Durable Operating Conditions: Wide temperature range and humidity rating Technical Specifications Specification Detail Model Number Honeywell R7847A1082 Flame Failure Response Time 2.0 or 3.0 seconds Flame Signal Voltage Range 0.0 – 5.0 Vdc Minimum Acceptable Signal ~1.25 Vdc from flame rod under proper conditions Detection Type Rectification (rod or UV) Compatible Flame Sensors Rectifying rods like C7004, C7005, C7007, C7008, C7009, Q179; also UV sensors where applicable Primary Safety Control Honeywell 7800 Series relay modules / R7140 Series modules Label Color Green Operating Temperature -40°F to 140°F (-40°C to 60°C) Storage Temperature -40°F to 150°F (-40°C to 65°C) Humidity Rating Up to 85% RH, non-condensing Environmental / Mechanical Vibration tolerance; solid-state plug-in design Applications Industrial and commercial burner safety systems Gas, oil, or mixed-fuel burners using flame rod or UV flame detectors Replacement or maintenance of 7800 / R7140 Series relay module control systems Situations where reliable flame monitoring at moderate response times is needed Benefits Flexible safety margin with two FFRT options (2.0 or 3.0 seconds) Clear flame strength monitoring via test jacks and voltage reading Easy installation / replacement via plug-in keyed connector Solid-state durability for harsh environments Simplified maintenance with green color label for quick identification

Installation Guidelines

Always make sure the wall has been wiped clean prior to installation.

Temporary installation :

3M (Picture hanging strips) or double sided tape can be used.Glue or staple picture hanging strip to the back of the acoustic panels. Because of their porous sound absorbing nature they do not stick as well to the 3m/double sided strip as the wall will.

Permanent installation:

A construct glue such as liquid nail or Selleys quick grip can be used. We also sell 59-598-3 Fireye Cablewhich provide high fast tack and have been specifically designed for acoustic panels. Please contact us to for commercial installation quantities as these panels are also sold in 2440mm x 1220mm sheets. Please contact us to for commercial installation quantities as these panels are also sold in 2440mm x 1220mm sheets.
